I got some great actors for the day and shot the various characters Day 1. Full shots and also Wide shots in Situ. Day 2 we spent shooting textures all over Cape Town ( we ended up shooting a couple more days duriong POST to get the exact textures and lighting we wanted. ) each frame took about 2 weeks to build the 3D assets, shoot a little more texture elements and build the comp. The cave was Stock footage the Agency purchased but I changed it a lot to make it work in the comp. This Image and the other image with the viking ship underground both won Cannes Shortlist awards. As well as Lourie awards in South Africa.
