This time lapse makes this epic comp look way to simple. There was not a single layer used as is. This might have been the most layers I have ever had in Photoshop. I shot the cast and some location elements in Constantia Cape Town but also shot several extra days looking for textures and bits and pieces as well as using 3D renders and texture libraries. Jason and I worked tirelessly on this image and we were extremely happy with the end result. It managed to win a Cannes Lion Shortlist award that year for the Hardy Boys.
